You can run Williams Bible Links™ on your phone. It runs on both Android and iOS (Apple) phones. NOTE: Language translation is not available in either of the document readers utilized below.
Most school Wi-Fi systems block downloads. In those circumstances, download zip files from this website with trusted (safe) off-campus Wi-Fi that allows downloads or download with an unlimited cellular plan (maybe with hotspot features for sharing download capability). One possibility is to buy added cellular data.
If you are on a phone outside of school Wi-Fi and the download fails, try using one of these download managers to resume interrupted downloads: Free Download Manager - FDM (Android) or dManager - datamanager by Robin Wagner (iOS).
Transfer options between phones:
- Android to Android: Quick Share
- iOS to iOS: AirDrop
- If the school Wi-Fi blocks Quick Share and AirDrop: Install LocalSend on both phones. Allow LocalSend to discover devices on the local (shared) network. Allow access to on-device storage. LocalSend will not use cellular data for transfers.
- For two Android phones:
- On the first Android phone:
- Turn off mobile data. Remember to turn it back on when you are done.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Start LocalSend.
- On the second Android phone:
- Turn off cellular data. Remember to turn it back on when you are done.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to the first Android phone's hotspot.
- Start LocalSend.
- For two iOS phones:
- On the first iOS phone:
- iOS requires cellular data to be on in order to create a hotspot. So leave cellular data on. LocalSend will not use cellular data for transfers.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Start LocalSend.
- On the second iOS phone:
- Turn off cellular data. Remember to turn it back on when you are done.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to the first iOS phone's hotspot.
- Start LocalSend.
